This one of a kind statement necklace was handmade with solid sterling silver and a gorgeous smoky quartz gemstone. I created a simple bezel setting for the gemstone with an open back to let light shine though. I used a smooth bezel and took the time to smooth and polish it all around the quartz to really make the faceted stone pop and have a nice sparkle. The chain is completely made by hand from heavy sterling silver wire. First I formed the wire into a flat rectangle. I used the rectangle wire to create links, interlocked and soldered them all together. Once the chain was complete I formed the links into rough ovals and then used a planishing hammer to texture and squish the walls of the ovals down onto themselves. This created such interesting dimension and gave each link it's own character. I polished the entire chain and setting to a high reflective shine so the entire piece reflects light so nicely. This is one of a kind and ready to ship, you will get the exact necklace shown in the photos.
* The length of the necklace is adjustable from 18"-20" with a built in extender chain and lobster claw clasp.
* The smoky quartz stone pendant measures 1.4" tall and 1" across
* Each link is shaped slightly differently so the size will vary but the larger oval links measure approximately 0.8" x 0.7"
