Texturing both sides of a silver circle is more challenging than it might seem because hammering one side can flatten the texture on the opposite side against the steel block. Paul uses a gentle technique, working back and forth over both surfaces multiple times to build and blend the texture. The result is a beautifully finished chain with no obvious front or back.
