Starting with thick argentium sterling silver wire, I hammer each hoop carefully to form a faceted texture, creating a beautiful, light-catching surface. After hammering, each hoop is polished to a high reflective shine that stands out. The secure post closure and push-back fastening keep them comfortably in place, while their nickel-free composition makes them ideal for sensitive ears. Each hoop is 40 mm across and 2.5 mm wide, with a total weight of 6.8 grams per pair (3.4 grams per earring). Argentium Sterling Silver is a high grade of sterling silver. Traditional sterling silver is 92.5% silver while Argentium is 94% pure silver. In addition to a higher silver content, Argentium is also certified nickel free, created from recycled silver, brighter white in color and is naturally tarnish resistant due to having less copper present than traditional silver. Argentium Sterling Silver is transparent about what their alloy is so you can be sure you are getting hypoallergenic nickel free sterling silver.
