These handmade Argentium Sterling Silver birthstone earrings feature sparkling bezel set cubic zirconia stones suspended inside hand hammered circles, creating a dainty, customizable design that's perfect for everyday.

We wanted these birthstone earrings to be simple, delicate, and easy to wear, but we also wanted every little detail to feel special. When you're working with a design this small, I think the quality of the materials and the attention given to the finishing really make a difference.

We use high quality cubic zirconia stones with a double checkerboard faceted cut. Unlike many stones that have a pointed or smooth back, these have beautiful dimensional facets on both sides.

All those tiny facets create wonderful flashes of reflected light, and because the stones are faceted on both the front and back, they sparkle beautifully from either direction. It's a detail that can be difficult to appreciate in photographs, but it makes such a difference when you're wearing the earrings.

We wanted the silver to be just as beautiful from every angle, so Paul carefully forms the silver circles and textures both sides of each one. Hammering silver on both surfaces takes patience because the metal is resting against a steel block while it's being worked. He repeatedly turns each circle over, gently blending the hammered texture until both sides have a beautifully finished surface.

He then polishes the silver to a high shine to catch the light beautifully from every angle. I love how the little hammered circles frame the sparkling birthstones. They're just the right size to give the stones a little extra presence without making the earrings feel large or overwhelming.

The finished earrings are only 1.1 inches long, including the ear wires, and weigh approximately 3 grams per pair. They're wonderfully lightweight and comfortable, with just enough sparkle to stand out while still being understated enough for everyday wear.

I think they're the kind of earrings you can easily wear with jeans and a simple tee, but they're also elegant enough to dress up.
