These handmade sterling silver Kingman turquoise earrings with faceted aquamarine combine natural gemstones in lightweight dangle earrings perfect for everyday wear.

These earrings started with a collection of completely natural Kingman turquoise freeform stones in beautiful shades ranging from blue to blue-green. Because every stone has its own shape and color, I spent quite a bit of time matching them carefully into pairs. I created only five pairs of these earrings, and all five are shown together in the photos so you can see how consistent they are in size and color. You will receive one of the five pairs pictured.

I gave each turquoise stone an additional decorative silver wrap at the top, creating a cap-like detail that adds a little more presence to the natural freeform shape. The turquoise drops below a hand-hammered Argentium Sterling Silver circle, with a faceted aquamarine suspended inside.

I spent awhile choosing a stone to pair with the turquoise, experimenting with different combinations. I kept coming back to these soft, milky aquamarines. They have a subtle translucence and gentle sparkle from the facets that contrasts beautifully with the smooth, opaque turquoise. Together, the blue-green Kingman turquoise and soft aqua stones create a calm, easy-to-wear color palette.

The hammered silver adds another layer of texture and catches the light beautifully. The finished earrings have just enough detail to feel special and distinctive while remaining lightweight and comfortable enough for everyday wear.

Argentium Sterling Silver is a high grade of sterling silver. Traditional sterling silver is 92.5% silver while Argentium is 94% pure silver. In addition to a higher silver content, Argentium is also certified nickel free, created from recycled silver, brighter white in color and is naturally tarnish resistant due to having less copper present than traditional silver.
