This one-of-a-kind pendant necklace was handmade with a gorgeous faceted Peruvian opal gemstone and solid sterling silver. Paul created a custom bezel setting for the freeform stone and placed it atop a layered pendant. He crafted the design by sawing shapes from silver and hand-hammering a large circle as the base, adding striking dimension. Hand-stamped vines, sterling silver ball accents, and a beautiful dimpled texture complete the look. The piece was polished to a high shine and carefully oxidized to bring out the intricate details. The adjustable sterling silver chain measures 16"–18" with a lobster claw clasp and a 2" extender. The pendant itself measures just over 1.5" across. This is one of a kind and ready to ship!

Argentium Sterling Silver is a high grade of sterling silver. Traditional sterling silver is 92.5% silver while Argentium is 94% pure silver. In addition to a higher silver content, Argentium is also certified nickel free, created from recycled silver, brighter white in color and is naturally tarnish resistant due to having less copper present than traditional silver. Argentium Sterling Silver is transparent about what their alloy is so you can be sure you are getting hypoallergenic nickel free sterling silver. We love working with this silver and the bright shiny polish we can achieve with it!
